For a semester, experts at the University of Vienna have been dealing with the question “How fair is health?” Nutrition, lifestyle, exercise – many things are partly in our own hands. Other factors are genetically predisposed or influenced by our microbiome and are only partially changeable. Our access to doctors, medications, and therapies depends on who we are, where we live, or what we can afford.
Personalized therapies, artificial intelligence, a supportive society – what are the “game changers” for more fairness in health?

The digital artists Sebastian Pirch and Martin Chiettini from the Art&Science department at LBI-NetMed will present an interactive media installation titled “Pile of Trash” at the event. This innovative installation will allow visitors to engage with an AI avatar, posing their questions about the future of medicine.

The panel discussion will also be broadcasted via livestream.
