Exploring AI and its Consequences – Exhibition at the Austrian Cultural Forum, Warsaw
Artistic Positions on Post-Digital Futures, Austrian Cultural Forum, Warsaw, 26 February – 9 April 2026. Exhibition featuring artistic contributions from researchers and affiliated collaborators of our institute.
Since late 2022, the rapid rise of generative AI has reshaped global power structures and ignited critical debates on digital ethics and energy consumption. This exhibition explores how AI is deeply embedded in our social and institutional fabric, using art as a mirror and early warning system for these shifts. By moving beyond questions of artistic autonomy, the showcase examines AI as a cultural infrastructure that reproduces norms and influences future imaginaries. Examining the intersections of ‘human vs. machine’ and ‘body vs. data,’ these artistic positions confront the inherent tension between technological fascination and the structures of political power.
