Network medicine is fostering a new understanding of diseases by revealing the complex connections between biological building blocks. This enables a more holistic and targeted approach to patient care. The LBI-NetMed aims to drive this shift in thinking forward: it decodes the fundamental networks from the molecular level right through to the whole body, with a view to improving the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with diseases.
